Organic Ceremonial Matcha
Sourced direct from one of the Japanese tea farmers we work with, this is organic matcha, ceremonial grade, so the best you can get.
It is produced from the Zairai tea plants, so tea plants which grow from seed, not cloned,so the flavour is different all the time.
This one is a bright green, but is typically organic, so no artificial fertilizers or pesticides - from memory, this farmer was using canola plants as fertilizer, but that’s going back a few years, so might have changed by now. The flavour is creamy, maybe avocado and pea notes. There’s little in the way of sweetness, but it’s certainly very drinkable.
