Illustrator Carissa Tanton worked in the shop for a while, and I took full advantage of her skills. This is an illustration she did of the shop before she left.

Who We Are
Seibiant was formed in the early part of 2016, originally as a cafe, but we quickly realised that there were far too many cafes in Conwy, and it was actually really hard work. Once we got rid of the tables, the shop seemed to find it’s identity and we quickly became a destination in North Wales for good quality tea. We also sourced locally roasted coffees.
Awards quickly followed, all of which helped us to develop further as a business. In 2020 the pandemic hit, and the shop was forced to close but we had a website that had been established since 2016, and the lockdown enabled us to develop the online side of the business. Working from home meant that people wanted good coffee and tea at home, and our products were consumed all over the UK and beyond.
In late 2020 the shop became my full-time job, and I was well and truly down that rabbit-hole that is good tea! This lasted until March 2023 when I came of age - I was able to retire, and Seibiant became an online business.
