Jasmine Dragon Tears

from £4.40

The ultimate in luxury tea. Jasmine Dragon Tears are a green tea made from the top two leaves and the bud of the new season growth (late March/early April). These delicate leaves are hand rolled into small pearls, which are then layered with fresh spring jasmine blossoms until the flavour has infused into the tea. The extraordinary flavour of these Jasmine Dragon Tears is due to the time of plucking and processing, as the quality deteriorates rapidly after the first few weeks.

The handling of the tea is skilled, as you can see from the tiny down on the bud.

Steep 6-8 pearls in 200ml of water, we prefer to use a tall glass so that we can see the pearls unfurl as they brew. Temperature depends on your preference, from 75 - 95 degrees.
